Adapt

When I was growing up and fretting about my hair or my outfit before school, my mom would always say the same thing. “You’ll get home again.” That was what my grandma would always tell her and her sisters. No matter how rough the school day, eventually it would come to an end and they’d all be back home again. I keep thinking about that advice, and how I could adapt it for our current predicament. You’ll leave home again? We’ll always have this time at home? At least no one will see our hair today?
