MY STORY

Shelley Mann Hite is a former journalist now finding her own voice and telling her own stories as a creative writer. She writes about motherhood, food, sobriety, and the Midwest.

Her Write Like Taylor Swift writing classes have been featured in the New Yorker. Her writing can be found in the New York Times, HuffPost, The Rumpus, Scary Mommy, Motherwell, Stonecrop Review, and more.


She loves helping people tell their stories more effectively, and especially working with memoirists on memoir proofreading and editing.

Shelley is a skilled freelance editor and proofreader with 20 years of experience editing magazines, newspapers, and books.
