"We are interconnected in more ways than we understand."

My particular pandemic problem is never being away from my family, so my post- pandemic MO is going to look like a lot of alone time rather than a bunch of socializing. But there’s one very particular kind of interaction I desperately miss, and that’s bumping into friends and who give the biggest, hardest hugs. It’s less an embrace than a mini deep tissue massage, and all that sensory input is the anxiety-melting equivalent of a weighted blanket. It’s the kind of squeeze that lasts a couple seconds longer than a hug usually should, but that, in the moment, I hope never ends.
